Hey everyone!
So! i will try and fill you in on the last week or so, Sometimes there are things that i wont be able to write on my blog, so if you reading this thinking I'm missing things out that is properly why!!
Last Thursday i came back up to the wonderful world of Manc, and went back to The Message on Friday!
This week has been our first week doing our placements and proper timetable! so my average week looks like this:
Monday- Prayers, Teaching, lunch, General creative workshop, tea, detached youth work on my estate.
Tuesday- Prayers, teaching, lunch, Vocal workshop, tea, Alpha
Wednesday- Prayers, teaching, fitness, lunch, Drama workshop, tea, Youth group at my church
Thursday- Prayers, teaching, lunch, Dance workshop, tea, Eden bus
Friday- refection's, lunch, Free afternoon to rehearse/ sleep!!
SO that is pretty much what i have done this week. We spent sometime meeting the bands that are at the message and hearing their stories, and getting some teaching on how to handle schools missions, in particular the question times, and what sort of questions they get asked.
We also had a worship meeting at our new church this week, and Me and one of my house mates are getting involved and helping out the next two Sundays, then being put onto the leading rota for the next year, which is all very exciting. By the sounds of it, it is pretty much a clean slate to be creative with. very exciting.
Having bible teaching everyday is a bit intense, but is good. Its very weird being back in the classroom and having to do lots of writing, and I've discovered i am not very good at sitting still!!!!
The early mornings are still a struggle, the bus goes at half 7, and some nights we wont be back in till 11pm. So prayers for energy would be really appreciated!!!
I would love to hear from some of the Yeovil lot, so feel free to comment or email me with questions about what I'm doing!!!
we should be getting proper Internet soon!! Ive had a argument with 02 today...!! so it should be on its way! haha!
hope you are all doing well
Rosie
